Abstract:
High speed serial communication technologies have been growing increasingly popular due to faster data communications, smaller form factors and lower power requirements. However, this has also created several signal integrity challenges.
Evolution of serial communication standards have put stringent requirements on systems with respect to jitter and eye diagram margins and bit error rates. A thorough understanding of the underlying concepts is required to meet these requirements.
Join us for this webinar as we discuss fundamentals of serial links including transmitter and receiver equalization techniques, channel de-embedding and jitter analysis. We will introduce several techniques for debugging serial links using Teledyne LeCroy oscilloscopes.
