When: Weds., August 29, 2018
Time: 10:00AM - 1:00PM
Where: Teledyne LeCroy
765 Sycamore Drive
Milpitas, CA 95035
Description: Motors are used everywhere from simple applications, such as powering a window or fan, to complex operations in hybrid/electric vehicle (EV) systems.
In this seminar you will learn how to effectively gain insight to the precise control of a motor system - from efficiency measurements to the analysis of how the motor controller dynamically responds to speed, torque and position changes.
This information will help you to increase reliability and efficiency of motor control systems staring from the quality of the input power, DC Bus integrity, timing and performance of the power device inverters, to the precise control of power during critical startup and motor load changes.
To help you with these tasks, we will include discussions on tools to analyze the effects of harmonic content, confirming most appropriate isolated voltage probes, integrating current sensors, and, in the presence of PWM inverter signals, assure the highest accuracy of power measurements.
