These DP 1.4 compliance tests are supported on both our 980 DisplayPort 1.4 Generator / Protocol Analyzer module and the newer 980 DisplayPort 1.4 USB-C/eDP Protocol Analyzer / Generator module making these versatile modules comprehensive solutions for all DisplayPort 1.4 testing—Link Layer, FEC, DSC, HDCP; source and sink.

The 980 DisplayPort 1.4 compliance test suites are ideal for self-testing or pre-testing your DP 1.4 products prior to submission to an Authorized Test Center (ATC) for approval. Pre-testing provides added assurance that your product will pass at the ATC when submitted. Where permitted, the 980 DP 1.4 compliance tests can be used to self-test your product for compliance. Self-testing allows you to bypass testing at the ATC thereby reducing costs and shortening time to market. This enables qualified OEM’s to expedite the process for achieving compliance certification in the comfort and convenience of your own lab.

The 980 compliance test suites enable the following debug capabilities:

  • View Pass/Fail test results for quick assessment of a test suite
  • Analyze detailed test results to determine cause of failure
  • Access post capture logs to pinpoint specific root cause of failure
  • Export and disseminate information to colleagues and subject matter experts for additional evaluation.
