This seminar will equip engineers with an understanding of the test specifications, detailed test procedures, and optimal test equipment for both Physical & Protocol layers. This seminar will include live testing, compliance, and traces.
PCI Express testing can be a daunting prospect; physical-layer testing requires tools with sophisticated protocol-aware capabilities at transfer rates of 8, 16, and up to 32 Gb/s.
Teledyne LeCroy and Anritsu have joined to provide full support for PCI Express Gen3, Gen4 and Gen5 Tx and RX compliance testing with industry-leading signal generation, physical- and protocol-layer analysis and Bit Error Ratio measurement technology.
We will also look at the Link Training Status and State Machine (LTSSM). We’ll be discussing the process and flow, what information is communicated when, and what part each device plays in the interaction. We’ll also take a look at what these ordered sets and events look like when captured in a trace
Presenter: Karthik Radhakrishna & Stephen Scott
