This workshop is an extensive hands-on experience for participants to test and debug automotive designs and electronic signals. We will be looking at a multitude of analysis tools enabling engineers and technicians to gain insight into circuit behavior then quickly find problems and document results.
The following topics will be covered through a combination of lecture & labs:
- Oscilloscope Basics: Making Measurements and Using Time Saving Triggers
- Signal Acquisition and Conditioning methods
- Basic Math and Essential Measurement tools
- Intermittent Event Capture
- Viewing the Signal
- Advanced Analysis including a brief introduction to Decoding CANBus, LIN, SPI, FlexRay and BroadR-Reach.
- Document and Reporting Results
Who should attend: Engineers and Technicians who use oscilloscopes and want to learn the technology and techniques to improve debugging skills, measurement accuracy and automated test.
How will attendees learn: Oscilloscopes will be available for demonstration and hands-on learning. The attendees will learn through lecture, discussion and practical exercises using the oscilloscope.
