Join Teledyne LeCroy for this hands-on webinar as we review Automotive Ethernet link communication and explore how to debug and troubleshoot these links using an oscilloscope. We will look at both the physical and protocol layers through this hands-on workshop.

Topics to be covered in this webinar:

  • Brief review of Automotive Ethernet Topology and Signaling
  • Review of how the Link startup between a Master and Slave occurs
  • Explore the 100Base-T1 Frame Structure
    • We will walk through the various elements of the 100Base-T1 frame and highlight how to locate errors.
  • Perform debugging process on Automotive Ethernet Links
    • We will cover how to debug Automotive Ethernet links including: signal separation, isolation of the link startup, and analysis tools such as eye diagrams and jitter measurements used to identify the root cause of failures.

Pre-work Recommended Before Hands-on Webinar

It is recommended that prior to the start of the webinar you should download and register (at no cost) MAUI Studio and download LabNotebook (waveform plus setup files) .lnb files (they will be combined into one .zip file that will need extracting).
