PCIe Gen5 Physical Layer Compliance Overview
PCI Express technology is one of the most advanced and ever evolving computer I/O serial standards highly adopted on AI, ML, ADAS, Data Center and other applications. It can be used as a peripheral device interconnect, chip-to-chip interface and as a bridge to many other protocol standards. While its 7th generation is currently in its definition phase, PCI Gen5 products are hitting the market on a large scale. To gain acceptance by the market, it is of the highest importance that chip-, system- and add-in card vendors test their PCIe Gen5 solutions against the standards specification.
The goal of this webinar, presented by Anritsu and Teledyne LeCroy, is to explain how this compliance test works, providing an overview of implementation and general setup. We will also mention which tests, hardware and software are needed.
