An oscilloscope is a measuring instrument. How are the oscilloscope measurement results internally calculated? What are the fundamental concepts that we are required to know for the correct calculation of these results? Is it true or false that an oscilloscope is not able to observe the signal continuously over time? What are the indispensable main prerogatives of an oscilloscope so that it can be so defined?
The purpose of this online seminar is to provide useful information on the practical use of modern digital oscilloscopes (DSO).
During the session: We will be using innovative oscilloscopes, such as the Teledyne LeCroy WavePro 800 HD model with 8GHz bandwidth, 12 bits of vertical resolution and 5GSample of memory, to carry out practical demonstrations with complex signals, and indicated the procedures for obtaining the best measurement results and signal integrity.
The webinar deals with all those aspects that facilitate the understanding of the use of the oscilloscope, its standard accessories and analysis software, in order to obtain accurate and easily understandable results. It is designed for all professionals who use an oscilloscope during their daily activities, but also for those who propose to have a clearer vision of the operation of this type of instrument.
Presenter: Dylan Bach, Application Engineer Teledyne LeCroy
