3:30 PM – Q&A with Prof. Bogatin

Part 1: Power Integrity in Action

12:30 PM – Understanding Your Power Delivery Network (PDN)

If you limit your PDN measurements to the board level, you are missing the real problem in many PDN designs. You need to measure on the die. Learn a simple technique for on-die PDN measurements and why board-level measurements are not enough.

1:15 PM – PDN noise impact from Inrush Currents

System turn-on is one of the most vulnerable sources of noise in a PDN. As devices initialize and begin loading the network, transient behaviors can emerge—often due to impedance shifts, inrush currents, and dynamic loads.

Part 2: Hidden Challenges with Signal Integrity –
Find What You Can’t See

2:00 PM – So you think you understand transmission lines?

Transmission lines are at the heart of all high-speed systems. While all effects are easily simulated and measured, design is fundamentally a creative process. The better your engineering judgment, the more effective a designer you will be. Clarify your engineering judgment on transmission lines in this session.

2:45 PM – Crosstalk and Ground Bounce: Understanding Return Path Effects

Signal integrity isn’t just about the traces—it’s about return current as well. When multiple high-speed lanes share return paths, ground bounce and coupling can distort signals and cause bit errors.

Conclusion
