WEBINAR ON DEMAND!
Wireless captures do not always happen in the lab.
eExcursion Mode in Wireless Protocol Suite (WPS) untethers the analyzer from a computer so that wireless captures can happen anywhere. This is necessary for moving vehicles, confined spaces, rugged industrial deployments, and other environments where keeping a laptop connected to the analyzer is impractical.
In this webinar, we will walk through how eExcursion Mode is configured in WPS before the excursion, how capture sessions are started and stopped from the analyzer front panel, and how stored captures are retrieved and analyzed after reconnecting the hardware to WPS. This webinar will highlight the industrial-grade Frontline X240i analyzer, which extends the X240 platform with durability for extreme temperatures, vibration, constant motion, and mission-critical field testing.
- Overview of eExcursion Mode and the untethered capture workflow
- Configuring Record Options in WPS and saving those options to the connected analyzer
- Using the analyzer front-panel controls to start and stop eExcursion capture sessions
- How the industrial-grade Frontline X240i supports reliable untethered capture
- Managing internal or external stored eExcursion capture files and replaying selected captures into WPS for analysis
Who Should Attend:
Wireless developers, validation engineers, field test engineers, support engineers, and test teams who need to capture and analyze wireless protocol traffic in environments where a PC-connected analyzer is not practical.
Presenters:
Paul Otto, Staff Software Engineer
Priyanka Gupta, Senior Program Manager
